Therefore, the siphon pipe is under negative pressure, and the toughness of the pipe is particularly high. The ordinary PE pipe is not under pressure to meet the needs of the siphon drainage system, and special hdpe pipe fittings must be used. This is determined by the working environment of the siphon drain. In the early stage of rainfall, if the height of the accumulated rainwater on the roof does not exceed the designed rainfall height of the siphon rainwater bucket, the drainage method of the entire siphon drainage system is the same as that of the gravity drainage system.
Once the rainwater height of the roof exceeds the designed rainfall height of the siphon rainwater bucket, the siphon effect will appear in the pipes of the siphon system, and the drainage pipes in the system will appear full flow. At this time, the water in the pipes flows at a high speed, and the roof rainwater is in the pipes. Under the suction effect of negative pressure, it is discharged to the outdoors at a higher flow rate. Therefore, the siphon drainage pipe needs to meet the following aspects:
1. HDPE pipes are lighter in weight and easy to install and handle. The siphon drainage construction is more complicated. When installing the drainage pipe, the operation is required to be simple. It can be connected by butt welding and capacitor welding to facilitate the formation of a closed anti-seepage system, especially when laying the pipeline along the groove, which can reduce the groove The amount of excavation and the amount of accessories used.
2. HDPE pipe has strong chemical resistance and is suitable for conveying sewage, natural gas, coal gas and other substances. Long service life, with a service life of more than almost 50 years.
In addition, when it rains, traditional drainage pipes will make a lot of noise, such as the sound of drainage. This is the use of gravity drainage pipes. When the water volume is large enough, due to the gravity pressure, it will be generated at the entrance of the drainage pipe. With high pressure, the water cannot fall down, but can only entrap a large amount of gas into the pipe. The bubbles entrain the water flow, which will strongly rub against the pipe wall and cause a loud noise. At the same time, because the water flow is continuously affected by the top pressure, the flow rate is slow. The HDPE siphon drain pipe will not have this problem.
